Reviews and Ratings <br />
I had a wonderful stay at the resort with a fantastic pool area and also enjoyed a clean, spacious room with an amazing ocean view from my balcony. While the location was peaceful and away from the busier parts, I did find the service to be lacking at times, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, the value for money was great, but there were sparse dining options, particularly for breakfast.
I stayed at this hotel for a week and was pleased with the friendly staff and clean environment. While the location was conveniently close to town and the beach, I faced some issues with the amenities, like inconsistent hot water and a few maintenance concerns. Overall, it was a decent stay, but improvements are needed.
I stayed here from December 28 to January 3, and while the staff was incredibly friendly and the location had great access to nearby restaurants, I found the resort itself a bit lacking. The overall condition of the hotel felt old and run down; we often struggled with hot water in our showers, and some amenities didn't function well. Despite the nice beach nearby, the experience was marred by a few significant issues.
We had a lovely experience at Banana Beach. The room was spacious and clean, and the view from our balcony was just stunning. The staff really went the extra mile to ensure we felt welcome, especially my granddaughter. However, the beach nearby had a bit of smelly seaweed, which was a downside. It's also a bit of a drive from downtown, but that's manageable in a golf cart.
Banana Beach Resort has great potential with its lovely staff and enjoyable breakfast options, but it seems to be falling apart with age. The rooms felt quite outdated and lacked adequate comfort, especially with the bed situation and inconsistency in water pressure. While the location offers easy access to the beach and nearby attractions, the overall upkeep of the facilities is disappointing.
